Quick answer
- Writes: erotica and erotic romance, mostly MMF, bi-awakening, swinger, poly and group stories, plus erotic horror and ghost stories, sports and workplace romps, and historical and adventure work under other names.
- Where to read: Amazon (some titles exclusive there and in Kindle Unlimited), Apple Books, her own Payhip shop, Ream, SubscribeStar, plus free shorts on Medium and her blog.
- Free: a BookFunnel story collection, a free tier on Ream and on SubscribeStar, serial chapters posted on her blog, and audio versions of some titles through ElevenReader.
- What the paid tiers cost: Ream lists tiers at $3, $4 and $6 a month, SubscribeStar four tiers from $1 to $6 a month, both read on October 27, 2026. Ebooks start at $0.99.
- Also writes as: Quentin Quick, Flora Fox, Laz Larue and Carson Quick, the four names she lists on her own blog home page.
What Cornelia Quick writes
Her SubscribeStar page describes the work as written erotica and erotic romance, mostly featuring menage, swingers, and group activities
, and her blog home page calls it spicy erotica and erotic romance full of heat, heart, and humor
. Around that core sit erotic horror and ghost stories, sports and workplace stories, and a run of resort and holiday titles. Apple Books files her under its Erotica label, with 17 ebook entries, which are the titles she sells wide rather than keeping on Amazon.
The pen names are a sorting system rather than a disguise, and she explains each one herself: Quentin Quick for stories with more bite, Flora Fox for finding love close to home, Laz Larue for pulp adventure with a steamy twist, and Carson Quick for historical male-male romance. She does not say whether Cornelia Quick is itself a pen name, and we record no other name.
The books
Eleven titles are confirmed here from a store or platform page each. Matador (30 January 2025) opens the Awakenings series and shows "Read for Free" on Amazon. The collection A Siren's Tales: 12 Erotic Confessions is dated 31 October 2023 on Apple and listed there at $0.99. Lightning in a Bottle, Passion in the Stars, a ghost story, is dated 25 October 2023, and Throuple 8 May 2023.
The sports strand begins with Winning With the Wildcats Volume 1 (28 April 2025), about a batting coach and a baseball team. Tiffany's Spring Break follows three friends in their senior year at university: How I Won Spring Break (2 May 2023) and Spring Break Binge! (3 March 2024) both showed "Read for Free" when we checked.
The newest run is a shared-world series called Temptations. Warmed at the Lodge is dated 1 December 2025, and Uncovered at the Canyon, about archaeologists invited to an adults-only BDSM resort, was a pre-order for 17 November 2026 when we looked. Its free prequel, The Professor's Blindfold, pairs a doctoral candidate with a visiting professor and is free to followers on Ream. A Family Condition, sold through her own shop, has an adult-film performer and a university student in it; she tags it as taboo without saying which theme she means, and we did not read the book, so we cannot tell you either.
Titles whose blurbs state no age for anyone are not on that list. Her catalogue was read title by title for this: 121 pages on her blog, 33 product pages in her shop, a 75-entry subscription library, 17 store listings and her Amazon author page. Nothing in them says or implies anyone under 18, and no setting below university level appears. Where a blurb was simply silent, the title stayed off, because silence is not a verified adult character.
Where to read her, and what each route costs
This is the most spread-out catalogue on our author list, so it pays to know what each channel is for.
- Amazon. Some titles are exclusive there and readable in Kindle Unlimited. We confirmed the "Read for Free" badge on four: Matador, both Spring Break titles above and Warmed at the Lodge.
- Apple Books and other retailers. The titles she sells wide, 17 of them on Apple when we checked.
- Her own Payhip shop. Ebooks mostly from $0.99, some stories exclusive to it, and alternate covers she describes as not safe for Amazon. Buying direct is the cheapest route to a single story.
- Ream. A free tier plus three paid tiers at $3, $4 and $6 a month, against a library of 75 stories. At $3 a month you are paying roughly what three of her $0.99 ebooks cost, for access rather than ownership.
- SubscribeStar. One free tier and four paid tiers from $1 to $6 a month. The posts visible on the page date from 2024, so we cannot say how active it is now.
- Free. A BookFunnel collection, free shorts and samples on Medium, serial chapters on her blog (The Bull in the Penthouse ran six chapters between 15 and 20 October 2026), and audio versions of some titles through ElevenReader.
Her blog is the index for all of it, with a page per title and a Where to Start guide. The newsletter goes out weekly, on Tuesdays according to her blog footer, and the Flora Fox and Laz Larue lists each come with a free ebook for subscribing. All tier prices and counts above were read on October 27, 2026 and will drift.
How she works
Deliberately, and in public. She splits the catalogue by tone across her pen names, keeps some titles exclusive to Amazon while selling others wide, sells the covers Amazon will not carry through her own shop, runs a review team for advance copies, and joins shared releases: an anthology dated 21 October 2026 and the Temptations series from 9 November 2026. She says one of her projects for the rest of 2026 is building reader-magnet stories that lead readers into the paid books, which is exactly what the free prequel above is doing.
Her Substack, The Eroticist's Notebook, is not where the fiction lives. It is a free newsletter about writing and selling erotica, and her About page there says stories are not offered to subscribers. That is a consequence of the episode below.
When the payment processor stepped in
This is one writer's account of her own case, published on her own pages, and not a general rule. On 21 October 2023 she wrote that Stripe was starting to enforce its adult-content rule and that she was weighing a move from Substack to SubscribeStar. In the same post she described Substack, Medium and Ream as tiny income streams
next to Amazon and Smashwords, valuable for discoverability rather than money.
On 15 December 2023 she wrote that Stripe had told her the Substack account was in violation of the Stripe Services Agreement
for selling adult content and would be closed on 20 December unless an appeal succeeded. She disabled the paid link, said I believe it's safe to give away smut
, and planned to make the series free and cross-post it on SubscribeStar and Ream instead. The outcome of the appeal is not stated on the pages we read. The processor's own list of restricted businesses is published here, and our page on payment processors and erotica sets out how often this happens to writers in this category.
What is not confirmed
No start year is published here: her own posts and her Substack page disagree, and the earliest store listing is not a start date. Her subscription library shows only titles and one-line taglines from outside, so the long descriptions behind that interface were not read. What is paywalled on Medium was not read either, and Kindle Unlimited status is confirmed for the four titles named above and no others. She makes no bestseller or award claim on any page we read; her blog carries weekly posts about her own store rankings, which we did not read in detail and do not quote. Her contact details and social accounts are left out on purpose.
The rest of our author pages are on the authors hub.
FAQ
Where can I read Cornelia Quick for free?
There is a free story collection delivered through BookFunnel, a free tier on both Ream and SubscribeStar, free shorts on Medium, serial chapters on her blog, and audio versions of some titles through ElevenReader.
What do her subscription tiers cost?
Ream listed tiers at $3, $4 and $6 a month plus a free tier, against a 75-story library. SubscribeStar listed four paid tiers from $1 to $6 a month plus a free tier. Both were read on October 27, 2026.
Which of her books are in Kindle Unlimited?
She keeps some titles exclusive to Amazon and marks them on her blog. We confirmed the "Read for Free" badge on Matador, How I Won Spring Break, Spring Break Binge! and Warmed at the Lodge.
What names does she write under?
Quentin Quick, Flora Fox, Laz Larue and Carson Quick, each for a different kind of story. She lists all four on her blog home page.
Why does her shop have different covers?
Because some of her artwork is not acceptable on Amazon. She sells those alternate covers, and some exclusive stories, through her own Payhip shop.
Can I read her stories on Substack?
Not any more. Her Substack is a free newsletter about writing and selling erotica, and her About page there says stories are not offered to subscribers, after her payment processor closed the paid side in December 2023.
