Billionaire Romance Apps

Of the ten services in our research that publish billionaire romance, only Smashwords has a category named for it, a Billionaires sub-category under Romance. The other nine show it as a tag, a genre line or a phrase in a store listing, and two of them, GoodNovel and Dreame, ban sexually explicit text in their terms.

Quick answer

  • One category only: Smashwords lists a Billionaires sub-category under Fiction, Romance and shows no title count. Everything else is a tag, genre line or store-listing phrase.
  • Who: ten services. Six on a category, tag list or genre list of their own, three on store-listing text and Archive of Our Own on a tag with no published count. Literotica has no billionaire or CEO category.
  • Heat: most of these are web novel, romance-app or AI story services, not erotica specialists. GoodNovel and Dreame ban sexually explicit content in their terms, so billionaire romance there is a plot, not a heat level.
  • Free: Smashwords, DreamPress AI, Roma, Satinaire and Archive of Our Own have some free reading. GoodNovel and Dreame sell chapters for coins, at roughly a cent a coin, with the coin cost of a chapter unpublished.
  • Formats: audio on 4 services, interactive on 1 and AI-written stories on 3.

What billionaire romance is

Billionaire romance pairs a wealthy, powerful love interest, a billionaire, CEO or tycoon, with a partner of lesser means or standing, with money and power shaping the relationship. It is defined by trope more than by shelf. Most services tag it, using words such as billionaire, CEO, contract marriage and fake dating, and file the stories under contemporary romance.

It overlaps with mafia, royalty and boss-and-employee stories, and with dark romance when the powerful partner is also possessive or dangerous. Spicify, for instance, lists billionaire among the popular genres of an app named for dark romance. Where a platform bans explicit text, the same plot arrives without it, which is why the service's rules matter more than the label. The wider genre is on the erotic romance page.

One category, and what the others are

Smashwords is the only service with a category named for it. The rest of the evidence is weaker, and the table says what kind, because a tag on a book listing and a phrase in a store description are not the same thing.

Literotica is missing from the table on purpose. Its category index has no category named billionaire or CEO romance, and we do not link to its categories. This is the thinnest of the romance-family genres: one category, one count (NovelX's 46) and a tag we could not count.

Billionaire romance where explicit text is banned

GoodNovel and Dreame are the largest services on the list and the two with the clearest bans. GoodNovel's terms say user content must not involve "sexually explicit description, cover and graphic, etc. (including any pornography)". Its help centre goes further and says a book title should not contain words that imply sexual content. A billionaire romance there is a love story with money in it, written to those limits.

Dreame's position is less tidy. Its terms say content must not be "sexually explicit or pornographic", yet its iPhone listing is rated 18+ with a frequent advisory for sexual content or nudity. We record both sides and do not decide between them: the terms say one thing and the store rating another. Its App Store text claims 500,000+ novels and lists billionaire romance among the popular genres.

Where explicit text is allowed

On the other side are services that allow explicit adult fiction. Smashwords carries erotica, hidden by default, and bars pornography. DreamPress AI and NovelX are AI story generators: you describe a billionaire plot and the service writes chapters. NovelX counts 89,000+ stories written on its home page, a vendor figure. Satinaire is an Android app of AI-written serials where the reader sets a spice level, and content at level 4 and above is restricted to adults. At DreamPress AI the label is a genre option and not a shelf to browse, so what you get depends on what you ask for; at NovelX it is also a tag on stories that its users have generated and published.

Roma, Epictos and Spicify have not published a rule either way on the pages we read. Roma, an iPhone and Android app, claims 10,000+ books and puts "Billionaire & CEO Romance" first in its list. Epictos is iPhone only and Spicify sells originals as books, audiobooks and Webtoons.

What billionaire serials cost

This genre is the classic coin-gated serial, and the arithmetic is only half possible. Dreame's US App Store packs on October 27, 2026 were 300 coins for $2.99, 500 for $4.99, 1000 for $9.99, 1500 for $14.99 and 2500 for $24.99. That is about a cent a coin at every size. GoodNovel's packs, from 200 coins for $1.99 to 5000 for $49.99, come to about a cent a coin as well. Neither lists how many coins a chapter costs, so we cannot say what a chapter costs in dollars. Both show at most ten purchases, so the lists may be partial.

Roma sells coin packs of 500 to 6,000 and plans, including an "Unlimited Reading - Monthly" item at $17.99 on the App Store, and the listing prints another item of the same name at $39.99. It does not publish a per-chapter coin cost either. Our guides to how story app credits work and to the subscription versus credit-based model explain why that missing number matters, and the glossary entry on the cliffhanger paywall describes the pattern.

Free, audio, interactive and AI

Five services have some free reading. Smashwords has free ebooks, DreamPress AI grants 15 credits a day, Roma gives free preview chapters, Satinaire is free to start with ads, and Archive of Our Own is free throughout. GoodNovel and Dreame are sample-then-pay. NovelX has a $0 plan of 10 generation tokens whose value is not defined, Spicify's own pages disagree about what is free, and Epictos describes no free tier.

Audio exists on DreamPress AI, NovelX, Spicify and Satinaire, and Satinaire's is AI-narrated. DreamPress AI is the only interactive option, with choose-your-path choices. AI-written stories come from DreamPress AI, NovelX and Satinaire. Our AI erotica section covers the generators.

Next to this page are erotic romance in general and the dark romance page, where the powerful partner turns menacing. Everything else sits under erotica genres.
