Erotica Apps

AI erotica stories

AI story services write fiction to your prompt, and what they allow depends on whose model they run. These are the nine we cover, including two writers' tools, with what each tier holds, what is free and what each publishes about characters under 18.

An AI story service writes fiction from your prompt, your characters or your choices, and a few of them narrate it. They look alike from the outside, and four things separate them: whose model it is, what each paid tier holds in its head, what the same plan costs on the web and in an app store, and what the service publishes about characters under 18. Our glossary entry on the AI story generator sets out the terms.

Seven of the nine services here are for readers and players. Sudowrite and NovelCrafter are writers' tools, covered because the same model question decides what an author can draft. They are not ranked as reading apps, and authors will find more on our pages for writers, starting with the best erotica platforms for writers. Everything below was read from each service's own pages on October 27, 2026. We have not used any of them.

Whose model decides what is allowed

The content rules belong to whoever supplies the model. A service that runs its own can allow what it likes. One built on another provider's API inherits that provider's limits. A tool that lets you bring your own key hands the question to you. The useful question is never whether a service is "uncensored" but whose model it is, and what that supplier forbids.

Few of these services say. Sudowrite is the clearest: its own Muse model is documented as having virtually no content filter, while its OpenAI-based models are documented as strict. NovelCrafter ships no model at all. For the rest, the pages we read name models or none, and say little about who supplies them.

ServiceWhat its pages say about the modelWhere the published content rule comes from
AI DungeonNames models such as DeepSeek V4 Flash, GLM and Dynamic Large; does not say who supplies eachIts own AI Safety Setting (Safe, Moderate, Mature) and an in-play filter
NovelAIHome page says powered by GLM 4.6; docs name Llama 3 Erato, Xialong and Krake as Opus-only; supplier not statedTerms restrict nothing and permit nothing in so many words; "No NSFW" applies to public Explore uploads only
ErotaModels called Apprentice, Artisan and Master; supplier not statedIts own Terms, with a short list of banned themes
DreamGenIncluded "basic and premium" models plus metered third-party models; the third-party list was not recordedTerms ban illegal content and sexual content involving people under 18; no other sexual-content ban
DreamPress AIA "standard model" and "premium-model" chapters, unnamedIts own Content Policy, with a Sexual and Erotic Content section
NovelXNot namedIts own Acceptable Use Policy
Pirr"Advanced AI" and writers' story arcs; no model namedIts own Code of Conduct
SudowriteIts own Muse and Ballad, plus 30 or more others, some OpenAI-basedMuse: "virtually none". OpenAI-based models: "strict", inheriting OpenAI's moderation
NovelCrafterNone: you connect a vendor or a local modelWhatever the connected model or its provider decides; the Terms bar only unlawful use

Our guide to whether AI story apps allow NSFW goes into this question in more depth.

Tiers are sold on context size

Context is how much of your story the model can see when it writes the next passage. It decides whether a character introduced an hour ago is still in view. Plans that look identical on a pricing page can differ a great deal here: AI Dungeon's published context runs from 4k tokens on its free tier to 32k or 64k on its top paid tier (its own pages disagree), which is why it pays to read what each tier holds. Three services publish a figure; the others sell something else.

ServiceWhat separates the tiersFigures on the pricing pages
AI DungeonContext, Memories, credits4k tokens free, then 8k, 16k, 32k and 64k at $14.99, $29.99, $49.99 and $99.99. The help page still says 32k for Ultimate.
NovelAIMemory and bonus Anlas; text is unlimited on every tier8,192, 12,288 and 28,672 tokens at $10, $15 and $25
DreamGenContext window, credits5,000, 15,000 and 30,000 tokens at $7.83, $19.35 and $48.30 (list)
ErotaMonthly credits; each model and each listen has a credit price200, 400 and 1,000 credits; no context size published
DreamPress AICredits and "unlimited writing" on the standard model1,000 monthly credits on Pro; no context or memory size published
NovelX"No token limits" on Premium10 tokens free; what a token buys is not defined
PirrStandard AI actions, characters per story20 a day free, unlimited on Premium; no sizes published
SudowriteCredits per month225,000, 1,000,000 and 2,000,000 credits; no context size published
NovelCrafterSoftware features, not AIContext depends on the model you connect

NovelAI is the only one that gives its memory in both tokens and characters, four characters to the token. Applying that ratio elsewhere is a rough yardstick at best. Each service page does the sum on its own tiers, and how story app credits work covers the credit systems.

Web prices and store prices

Where a service sells through an app store as well as its own site, the two prices often differ, and the records keep them as separate rows. We give both, and say which is which.

What each publishes about characters under 18

Two different things get called an age rule: the minimum age for the user, and a rule or sentence about the characters. Four services publish a detailed written rule: AI Dungeon, DreamPress AI, Pirr and NovelX. Erota, DreamGen and Sudowrite have a line in their terms. For NovelAI and NovelCrafter we found no published rule in the pages listed. That is a finding about the pages we read, not a claim that either has no policy.

ServiceMinimum age for the userRule on characters under 18Sentence that all characters are adults
AI Dungeon13 in the Terms; 18 confirmed to switch on MatureDetailed, in the Community Guidelines, with a filter that runs on MatureNot found
DreamPress AI18+ gateDetailed, in the Content PolicyYes
Pirr18+ platform; declaration to turn on NSFWDetailed, in the Code of ConductYes
NovelX18+ gateDetailed, in the Acceptable Use Policy and the FAQNot worded that way; a ban on characters under 18
Erota18, a warranty in the TermsOne line in the TermsYes, in the pricing page footer
DreamGen18, a warranty in the TermsOne line, including fictional charactersNot found
Sudowrite18, a warranty in the TermsOne line in the TermsNot found
NovelAI18, in the TermsWe found no published rule in the Terms, Privacy Policy, docs FAQ, Subscription page or Explore pageNot found
NovelCrafterNo minimum in the Terms; the Privacy Policy says it is not directed at people under 18We found no published rule in the Terms, Privacy Policy, Imprint, FAQ, NSFW model guide or billing helpNot found

Every age check here is a declaration: none of the services describes a document check. The NovelX review publishes a further finding that belongs next to this table: its acceptable-use policy bans incest and non-consensual content, while its public library carries tags for both. The review gives both sides and where to check them.

Where to go next

Each service page repeats the arithmetic on its own plans. For the wider field, the apps with AI-generated stories page lists who says so on their own pages, and free AI erotica stories collects the free options. Services that are not about AI sit under platforms and apps.
