Erotica Apps

Interactive Erotica

Thirteen services let you choose what happens next in an adult story: eleven apps that sell choices in diamonds, gems, keys or hearts, and two websites, Chyoa and Outfox Stories, that are explicit by policy. This section compares them on three things the store pages leave out: age, cost and endings.

An interactive story asks you to choose what happens next. Here that covers eleven mobile apps and two websites: apps such as Romance Club, Choices and Dorian, and the browser sites Chyoa and Outfox Stories. They share a shape, a story that stops at a decision, and very little else. They are paid for in different currencies, rated differently by the two app stores, and written under different rules.

We did not install any of them, so everything below comes from store listings, terms, help centres and pricing pages, read on October 27, 2026. Where a figure only exists inside an app, we say it is not published and leave it there. If you are new to the format, how interactive story apps work is the place to begin.

The age gap: store rating against the service's own terms

Eight of the eleven apps publish a minimum age in their terms that is lower than their App Store rating, or no number at all. Romance Club, Winked, Tabou Stories and Whispers put the figure at 13, Romance Club with a parent or guardian's consent and Whispers in its privacy policy. Love Sick names 16 and Lore names 17. MeChat asks for a parent or guardian's permission and sets no floor, and Dorian points to local law. Only Scripts publishes the same age as its store rating. Chapters and Choices run the other way, with terms at 18 beside a 16+ App Store rating. Every cell below is a published figure; we put them side by side and add nothing.

One dormant app belongs in the same sentence. Moments is rated 18+ on the App Store and its terms, last updated in April 2018, say You may use the Stardust Services only if you are 13 years or older. We give it no page, because its last App Store update was March 19, 2025. We do not know how any of these apps checks age, since we do not create accounts. For the store side of this, why erotica apps disappear from the app store sets out the stores' own rules.

What a premium choice costs

Every app here has a premium currency, and a premium choice costs some of it. The price of a choice appears only inside the app, so none of the eleven publishes it, and we do not install apps. What the store listing does publish is the price of the packs, and for some services the number of units in them, which lets us work out what one unit costs. Where the pack carries no count, the unit price cannot be worked out, and we do not guess it.

ServicePays inWhat the listings printCost of a premium choice
Romance ClubDiamonds, tea, spinsTen App Store items, $3.99 to $49.99; no diamond counts; 10 spins for $3.99Not published

LoreNo currency: a flat pass$6.99 a week, $12.99 a month, $99.99 a year on its pricing pageNone, in its own words
ChyoaNothing: free, ad-supportedNo paid tier foundNone
Outfox StoriesNothing: Premium tiers$8, $20 or $100 a month; most stories free to readNone

Three patterns stand out. Six apps print diamond, gem, heart or key counts on at least some packs, which is the information a reader needs; four (Romance Club, MeChat, Winked and Tabou Stories) print none for their main currency, and Lore has no currency. Where counts exist, the biggest pack costs between 18 and 33 percent less per unit than the smallest, so the unit price falls as the pack grows. And hearts on Dorian cost more per unit than the diamonds elsewhere, though a heart is a different unit and the comparison is of the unit, not of a story. Our guides to how story app credits work and the subscription against credit-based comparison go further.

How much the choices change

The only number that tells you how much a choice matters is the count of endings, and none of the thirteen publishes one. What they publish instead is a sentence about choices, and the sentences differ in what they promise.

ServiceWhat it says
Romance ClubEvery story has multiple endings!
LoreMake choices that change the ending
MeChatyour choices impact the ending
WinkedChoices have a direct consequence on your relationship status
Tabou StoriesEvery decision you make influences the outcome of your story
Choicesthe effects of your choices vary by story
ChaptersChoices lead to different experiences throughout the story
WhispersYour choices in chapters truly matter
ScriptsYou select from a range of choices to decide your episode's course
Love SickYou choose YOUR style, YOUR relationships, and YOUR destiny
DorianMake meaningful choices that change the story; creators build branching romances
ChyoaEach chapter can lead to several continuations; some stories keep state in a Game Mode
Outfox StoriesReaders branch out from existing chapters; AI adventures follow what you type

Three of those name the ending itself. Winked comes nearest to a remembered choice, with its relationship meter, and Choices says outright that the effect varies by story. Choices also says a premium choice you have paid for shows as free when you meet it again. The two websites work differently: their branches are written by readers, so the number of endings belongs to each story. Our pages on branching choices and interactive stories list the services by feature, and the glossary entry on choice-based stories defines the term.

The adult web-first pair

Chyoa and Outfox Stories are the two services here that are explicit by policy and written in the open. Both have written rules against sexual content involving characters under 18, which is rarer than it sounds: in the pages we read, none of the eleven apps has a sentence saying that all characters are adults. Chyoa's footer says All characters in all stories on this site are over 18. Outfox Stories requires that mature content must have a strictly adults-only cast. Read each review for the full wording. Dorian, by contrast, says in its guidelines that explicit sexual content is not welcome while its App Store rating is 18+, and StoryLoom, a service launched on October 20, 2026 and not yet reviewed here, says pornographic content is not permitted beside the same rating. Both sides of each are on the pages.

Services we cover without a page

Eight live interactive story apps appear in our comparison data without a page of their own: My Stories, Love Sparks, Love Island: The Game, Love Villa, Love 365, Love Story (Webelinx), Seven Hearts Stories and Another World's Stories. Their App Store ratings run from 16+ to 18+, and three of them (Love Island: The Game, Love Villa and Love 365) carry Google Play's own label Teen beside a 16+ on the App Store.

Three more are dormant, which is why they get no page. Moments was last updated on the App Store on March 19, 2025, and the Google Play package its site links returns a 404. Blushed was last updated on the App Store on September 30, 2024 and on Google Play on October 10, 2025. Lure was last updated on the App Store on July 2, 2026, but its official domain, lureapp.com, redirects to a host that returned an HTTP 522 error on October 27, 2026; the lure.app address loads an unfinished template page. That may be temporary.
