Interactive Porn Stories

Interactive porn stories are explicit fiction where you choose what happens next, and the places that host them are community fiction sites and typed AI adventures, not app stores. Chyoa and Outfox Stories are explicit by written policy, Literotica runs Story Games under its all-characters-over-18 rule, and AI Dungeon and NovelAI let you type the next move.

Updated

Quick answer

  • Where they live: the web. Chyoa and Outfox Stories are community sites where readers write the branches, Literotica hosts human-written Story Games, and AI Dungeon and NovelAI let you type what happens. Only AI Dungeon of these has phone apps in our records.
  • Cost: free to read at Chyoa, Literotica and, for most stories after a few months, Outfox Stories. AI Dungeon has a free tier; NovelAI has none.
  • Rules: Chyoa and Literotica print a footer saying every character is over 18. Outfox Stories requires an adults-only cast for mature content, with no blanket sentence.
  • Age gate: a declaration at all of them. Outfox Stories adds a one-time age verification in some regions, including the UK, Australia and Germany.
  • Not audited: the community catalogues are written by users and we have not read them title by title.

What a search for interactive porn stories returns

This is not an app-store query. The results for the phrase are community story sites, tag archives, an interactive-fiction blog and a few AI story products, which is a different world from the apps on our interactive erotica hub. There is no coin economy, no store rating and no developer help centre. There is a site, a set of rules written by its operator and a catalogue written by its readers.

We cover the services in that world whose own pages we could read and whose rules we could quote. The search also returns sites we do not cover, and we say nothing about them. If you are new to the format, the glossary entries on interactive fiction and the branching story define the terms.

Three shapes of interactive porn story

The phrase covers three different products, and the difference is who writes the next scene.

Community branches: Chyoa and Outfox Stories

Chyoa calls itself a community library for interactive adult fiction, and its own guide describes a site where each chapter can lead to several continuations. Some stories hold state: its Game Mode tracks items and conditional choices, and the guide also lists reader variables, a Story Map and polls. It is free to read, most stories can be read signed out, and an account adds bookmarks, favourites and saved games. The price of that is advertising.

Outfox Stories is built the same way with an AI layer added. The home page invites you to start a story, branch out from an existing chapter, or play an AI-generated text adventure. According to the site, All stories are Premium initially, and most move to the free tier a few months after publication. Its site meta says there are no ads and no account is required. The AI side is metered: the Basic Premium page gives 100 text generations a day and calls that ten times the free tier.

Because the branches are written by readers, the number of endings belongs to each story. Neither site publishes a count. Our Chyoa against Literotica comparison sets the two community models side by side, and the branching choices page lists every service that claims them.

Literotica's Story Games

Literotica has a section of interactive stories it calls Story Games, described in its FAQ as adult stories where the reader can choose their own path, with one story possibly holding hundreds or thousands of narratives. They are published by its authors and follow the same content rules as the rest of the site, which the interactive FAQ words as all characters must be 18+. The service is free and web-only, and it rejects AI-generated work: its guidelines say works generated by AI are not accepted.

Typed AI adventures

If you would rather write your half than choose from branches, the AI services are built for it. AI Dungeon's home page describes a game where you create open-ended stories and guide every choice. Adult content sits behind an account-wide Mature setting that requires you to confirm you are 18+, and the pages do not say whether the free tier can switch it on. NovelAI has a Text Adventure mode with Do and Say commands next to a co-writing editor, and sells unlimited text generation from $10 a month. For these, who owns the model decides what is allowed: our page on AI interactive erotica covers the mechanics and NSFW rules at AI story apps the policies.

What the rules say about characters

Community sites are the one corner of this field that put character-age wording in writing. Three of them do it differently.

  • Chyoa has a footer on every page we read: All characters in all stories on this site are over 18. Rule 1 backs it with a written ban that covers description and implication, not only a stated age.
  • Literotica carries Characters in all stories are over 18. in its footer. Its Content Guidelines bar any sexual activity involving characters under 18 in any form, and fan fiction where characters are artificially aged.
  • Outfox Stories has no blanket sentence. Its Content Guidelines say that mature content allows explicit material but must have a strictly adults-only cast, and that characters written as under age, or implied to be, must not be placed in sexual situations.

All three also exclude other things. Chyoa and Outfox Stories ban bestiality, and Chyoa also bans excessive violence. Literotica bans bestiality with real animals (fantasy characters, monsters and furries are allowed), sexualised death and non-consent fantasies in which the victim gets no thrill or is seriously and permanently harmed. Outfox Stories bars real, living people unless they are adult public figures. Read each service's own list before assuming your idea fits, because the lists differ.

A rule on a page is not an audit. These catalogues are written by users, and we have not read them title by title.

Age gates and regional checks

At every service here, the reader's age is a declaration. Chyoa shows an entry screen with an "I am 18 or older" button. Literotica treats visiting as agreeing to the terms, with no account and no setting needed. Outfox Stories bars under-18s in its terms and, according to its Premium page, local laws in some regions, including the UK, Australia, many US states, Germany and Brazil, require a one-time age verification before mature content unlocks, which subscribing does not skip. The method is not stated. For AI Dungeon the declaration is the confirmation that unlocks Mature, and its general minimum age is 13.

Where to start

  • Free, branching, human-written: Chyoa, with ads.
  • Free, authored, with a rule you can read in one line: Literotica's Story Games.
  • Community branches plus an AI option: Outfox Stories.
  • To type your half: AI Dungeon's free tier, or NovelAI if you accept paying first.

FAQ

Are there free interactive porn stories?

Yes. Chyoa is free and ad-supported, Literotica's Story Games are free, and Outfox Stories moves most stories to its free tier a few months after publication. AI Dungeon has a free tier, though it does not say whether Mature works on it.

Do I need an account to read them?

Not to read. Chyoa says most visible stories can be read signed out, Outfox Stories says no account is required, and Literotica says membership is optional and free. An account adds saved games, bookmarks and writing.

What is the difference between Chyoa and Literotica's Story Games?

Chyoa is open to any registered user who wants to add a branch to a story. Literotica's Story Games are stories members publish under the site's content guidelines. Both are free and web-only, and both print an all-characters-over-18 footer.

Can I write my own interactive porn story?

On Chyoa any registered user can start a story or add a chapter, and Outfox Stories lets you start a story, branch from a chapter or use its AI. Chyoa has no payment programme, and Outfox Stories lets supporters commit to pay per chapter and give tips, at payout rates it does not publish. Literotica pays authors nothing directly.

Is there AI-written interactive porn?

Yes, from AI Dungeon, NovelAI, Outfox Stories, Erota, DreamPress AI and Pirr. Each follows its own rules, and several leave adult content unconfirmed, which our rules page explains.
