Webnovel sells translated and original web novels and comics in apps for iPhone and Android and on the web, with a fantasy lean (wuxia, xianxia, LitRPG) and romance too. The US App Store lists a $9.99 "Membership_Monthly" item, so the plan is billed monthly, where GoodNovel's lines are weekly. Coin packs run from 50 coins for $0.99 to 5,000 for $99.99, about 50 a dollar, so its coin counts cannot be compared with GoodNovel's.

It has limits too. The listing does not say what the membership includes, a $4.99 "Membership" has no stated period, and a $19.99 "Weekly short story membership" is also weekly. Its Terms (last updated January 14, 2019) ban content that is "indecent" or "pornographic" without naming explicit text, the App Store rating is 16+ and the minimum age 13. Wattpad is free to read with ads, and Premium removes the ads and adds unlimited offline stories from $4.99 a month on the web page, or $5.99 on the App Store, with a 7-day trial. That is the lowest published monthly price here. Paid Wattpad Originals unlock with its own Coins, at 9 for $0.99, 74 for $3.99 and 244 for $8.99 on the App Store, about 9 to 27 Coins a dollar.

It differs on rules: its Content Guidelines allow explicit sexual scenes between consenting adults in stories rated Mature, and ban content created primarily for sexual arousal. Epictos is an iPhone-only reader of dark romance. The US App Store lists weekly ($2.99), monthly ($5.99) and yearly ($39.99) subscriptions, each with its period named, and the listing claims 500+ novels, offline reading and no ads. There are no coins to count, and the App Store rating is 18+.

The catalogue is a fraction of GoodNovel's claim, the seller is an individual developer, the Terms are Apple's standard licence, the privacy policy sets a floor of 13, and the listing does not say what each plan unlocks beyond an ad-free library. We found no Android app or web reader.

Dreame sells coins in packs of 300 for $2.99 to 2,500 for $24.99, also about 100 a dollar, after free first chapters, and claims 500,000+ novels. The App Store rates it 18+, with a frequent advisory for sexual content, where GoodNovel is 13+. It runs on iPhone, Android and the web and is cancelled through the store.

The Terms still ban "sexually explicit or pornographic" material, payments are final, and the coin cost of a chapter is not published, so it solves the rating and not the rule. Dreame vs GoodNovel sets them side by side.

Roma: Romance Novels is a serialized romance reader for iPhone and Android, rated 18+ on the App Store. It lists an "Unlimited Reading - Monthly" pass at $17.99 and coin packs of 500 for $4.99, 1,200 for $9.99 and 2,700 for $19.99, which is about 100, 120 and 135 coins a dollar. The store text mentions offline reading and new chapters daily, and the site claims 10,000+ books.

Four weekly renewals of GoodNovel's $9.99 plan would be $39.96 against Roma's $17.99, but the contents of neither are described. We found no content policy or character-age statement, and the coin cost of a chapter is not published.

Outfox Stories is for people 18 and over only, according to its Terms, and its Content Guidelines welcome adult and NSFW fiction, explicit scenes included, under written rules. It is a community site: readers write branching stories, and there are AI chats and AI-generated text adventures. The site says it has no ads and needs no account. Most stories start in Premium and move to the free tier a few months later, and Basic is $8 a month, or $6 on an annual subscription, with a 14-day trial.

It is a different product from a coin serial: no coins, and a monthly subscription in place of GoodNovel's weekly ones. A one-time age verification applies in some regions before mature content unlocks, AI illustrations and videos are always SFW, we found no store app, and creator payout rates are not published.
