MeChat presents its stories as chat conversations, with voice messages, from PlayMe Studio. The App Store rates it 18+, and store copy says "make choices to impact the episode" and "your choices impact the ending". Subscriptions are $4.99 weekly and $9.99 monthly, and gems are sold in packs from $0.99 to $19.99. The Android app has 10M+ downloads.

The gaps are the opposite of Choices'. The perks of the subscriptions and the counts in the gem packs are not stated, the gem price of a choice is unknown, the store copy says it is an online game that requires a connection, and the terms set no age floor: younger users need a parent or guardian's permission and supervision, and purchases are for legal adults. There is no web version that we found.

Dorian is a mobile app of branching romance games built by independent creators, claiming 11,000+ games and 1M+ players, across romantasy, dark romance, dating sims and horror romance. Hearts are bought and support creators; sapphires are free and do not. Both unlock choices, and the help centre says choice prices are set by the creators. Its creators page claims a 50/50 revenue share. The App Store rating is 18+.

So there is no single price for a premium choice, which is the honest consequence of letting creators set them. Hearts cost about 12 to 14 cents on most packs, from 14 hearts for $1.99 to 860 for $99.99, with one 100-heart item at $6.99. Hearts and sapphires spent on a choice cannot be refunded, and there is no play on the website. Its community guidelines welcome suggestive and mature themes but say explicit sexual content is not allowed, so it is not an alternative for explicit reading. What Dorian costs has the pack list.

Chyoa is a free library of explicit adult fiction where each chapter leads to several continuations and any registered user can add the next branch. There are no coins, credits or paid chapters in the pages we read, most stories can be read signed out, and the footer says "All characters in all stories on this site are over 18". It has Story Map, polls and a Game Mode with state and conditional choices.

What you give up is an app and any curation: it is ad-supported, we found no store app, the stories are written by readers, and the catalogue is unaudited. Pirr is an interactive romance fiction app from a Swedish company, with iPhone, Android and web beta versions. You choose the genre, characters and setting, and the story adapts line by line to your choices rather than following fixed branches. It is text only. The free tier gives 20 daily Standard AI actions, one character per story and three saved characters, and the App Store lists Premium at $12.99 a month or $99.99 a year. Mature themes are off by default and can be switched on by a user who confirms they are 18 or older.

The meter is different: a daily allowance of AI actions in place of keys and diamonds. The web page prints $8.99 and $12.99 without saying which term each is, the "500 Superior AI actions" a month are marked coming soon, and its Code of Conduct says all characters in sexual content must be 18 or older. It is a different product from a library of authored stories, and a worse fit if you want fixed endings.

Romance Club has 50M+ Google Play downloads, is rated 18+ on the App Store, and its store copy says every story has multiple endings. It sells diamonds, tea and spins, with a Gold pass and a starter pack, and the pack list runs from $3.99 to $49.99.

It is less documented, not more. There is no public help centre, what the currencies buy is not published, Google Play shows a range of $1.99 to $111.99 per item, there is no web player we found, and the terms allow people over 13 with a parent or guardian's consent. It is on this list because it is the nearest app in size and audience, and the right comparison is the one linked above.
