Best OhCleo Alternatives

Audio app

OhCleo's FAQ says its subscription pricing is displayed inside the app and may vary by region, so the only figures anyone can check are the $4.99, $14.99 and $24.99 items on the US App Store. Our arithmetic on those three is the reason this page exists: the three-month pack costs two cents more than paying by the month. These five alternatives all print a price you can read first.

Quick answer

  • What OhCleo costs, as far as anyone can check: $4.99 for one month, $14.99 for three and $24.99 for six on the US App Store. Our arithmetic: three months bought monthly is $14.97, so the three-month pack is two cents dearer. Only the six-month pack saves anything, $4.95 over six monthly payments.
  • Same marketplace, public price: Quinn prints $7.99 a month and $59.99 a year on its own About page and in both store descriptions, and says its creators are vetted before their audio is shared.
  • Nobody uploads to it: Dipsea commissions its stories and recruits its voice actors, at $12.99 a month or $69.99 a year.
  • No app at all: femtasy runs in a browser, $15.99 a month or $109.99 a year, with 30 days free on the annual plan.
  • Caveat: we have listened to nothing. This compares published prices, terms and rules, and says nothing about how any recording sounds.

Why look for an OhCleo alternative

OhCleo is a creator marketplace for audio erotica and ASMR: independent performers record and upload their own tracks, and our count of its public sitemap on 27 October 2026 found about 7,000 track pages and 433 creator profiles. The free account is genuinely useful, since the home page invites you to Create a free account and pick any 3 stories to hear in full, and its creator rules are the strongest written age wording of any user-upload service we checked. Our OhCleo review has the full record. Four things still push listeners elsewhere.

  • The prices are not published. The FAQ says Subscription pricing is displayed inside the OhCleo mobile app and may vary by region or platform, so the US App Store items are all anyone outside the app can see, and nothing confirms what Google Play or a non-US storefront charges.
  • The longer terms barely help. By our arithmetic from those items, the three-month pack at $14.99 costs two cents more than three monthly payments of $4.99, and only the six-month pack at $24.99 saves anything at all, $4.95 against six monthly payments. Whether the three and six-month items renew is not stated.
  • There is no trial. The FAQ says plainly We do not normally offer free trials. The three free stories are the whole sample.
  • Moderation rests on uploaders. A keyword scan of those 7,783 sitemap addresses on 27 October 2026 found one user-uploaded item, about one in 7,800, that breaks OhCleo's own written ban on content involving people under 18. That is a count of what one keyword scan surfaced rather than a measured error rate, no per-title audit was done, and we do not record the item. It is still the thing a reader deciding between a marketplace and a commissioned catalogue should know.

Two smaller notes. The full library lives in the app, with only previews and the three free stories on the web, and OhCleo allows AI-generated voices: its FAQ answers Yes, AI-generated voices are allowed if compliant with OhCleo policies. There is no annual plan, so a year of listening is bought six months at a time.

The best OhCleo alternatives, by what you want to change

We ordered these five by the question an OhCleo subscriber asks first, which is what the next twelve months would actually cost, and then by who decides what goes into the library.

Quinn is the other creator marketplace in this field: independent voice performers upload their own audio, with Quinn Originals voiced by known actors on top. The difference is that the price is on the public record. Its About page says Quinn is $7.99 a month, or $4.99 a month billed annually, and both store descriptions print $59.99/year or $7.99/month. Its Code of Conduct says creators are vetted before their content is shared, which is a written process rather than a result, and it runs on iPhone, Android and the web rather than mostly in an app.

The arithmetic is closer than the headline prices look. A year of OhCleo bought one month at a time is $59.88, eleven cents under Quinn's $59.99 App Store year, and a year bought as two six-month packs is $49.98, which undercuts Quinn by $10.01. Quinn also states no free plan and no trial anywhere we read, so you pay before you hear anything, its library size is not published either, and Roses, the tips for creators, are sold only in the app at $2.99 each. What Quinn costs in full is on our Quinn pricing page.

If the moderation question is the one that bothers you, the answer is a service where there is nothing to moderate: Dipsea commissions its stories and recruits its own voice actors, so no listener is relying on a stranger's upload. It claims 1000+ audio stories with weekly releases in its own FAQ post from 2024, and it is the best-known name in the category by some distance. Both store descriptions quote the same figures as the website, $69.99 a year or $12.99 a month, which is the opposite of OhCleo's in-app-only approach.

You pay for it. $12.99 a month is $8.00 above OhCleo's monthly item, and twelve of them come to $155.88 against $59.88. There is no standing free plan: the sign-up page lists none, and the Terms only say Dipsea may let you listen to some of Content for free when you sign up for an Account, which is a possibility rather than an allowance. The 7-day trial exists on the annual plan only and bills $69.99 when it ends, so it is not a way to sample for free without a diary reminder. What Dipsea costs works through the whole sum.

femtasy is the one audio service we cover with no store app at all: a web app you can install to your home screen in a few clicks, which suits anyone who would rather not route an adult subscription through Apple or Google. Its pricing page carries both figures in dollars with the trial rules beside them: $15.99 a month with no trial, or $109.99 a year with the first month at $0.00, so the trial runs 30 days against OhCleo's none. It claims 700+ audio stories and sounds with 50+ voices, there is a free sample audio on the home page, and the catalogue is produced rather than uploaded.

It is the dearest monthly price here, $11.00 above OhCleo's, and twelve monthly payments come to $191.88, a figure the pricing page itself prints. Offline listening is not possible, according to a help article dated 2022, the trial is on the annual plan so forgetting to cancel bills $109.99, and the home page claims 3,000+ audios where the pricing page says 700+, a conflict we record and do not resolve. femtasy against Quinn compares the browser route with the marketplace one.

Ferly sits at the edge of this category on purpose. It is a sexual-wellness app from a named UK company, built on expert-led audio programmes, with erotic stories as one section: the App Store text counts 900+ minutes of guided practices, 500+ minutes of theory and 290+ minutes of stories. Nothing is uploaded by strangers, there is a 7-day free trial where OhCleo has none, and both sets of prices are published: £12.99 a month, £39.99 a year or £399.99 once, with the App Store monthly at $12.99.

Two problems. The erotica is a small part of the product, so if stories are all you want you are paying mostly for coaching. And its price list is its own mess: the App Store shows four different annual price points, $35.99, $49.99, $59.99 and $79.99, plus a Ferly Premium item at $39.99 with no period stated, and the listing does not say which one a new subscriber is offered. The iOS app was last updated on 29 April 2025. Where OhCleo hides one price, Ferly publishes five.

OhCleo already permits AI-generated voices, so for some listeners the honest next step is a service built on them. NovelX generates explicit stories to your own prompt and reads supported chapters aloud, which means the catalogue is unlimited in the only sense that matters: it writes what you asked for. There is a free start with 10 generation tokens, Premium is $18.99 a month on the web and on the App Store listing, and a weekly item costs $4.99. Its own FAQ sets the rule as As long as content involves consenting adults (18+) and doesn't violate our safety policies, your kinks are welcome.

The warning is larger than OhCleo's. On 27 October 2026 its public library carried tags for two categories its own Acceptable Use Policy bans outright, with story counts beside them, which is a documented gap between a published rule and a live catalogue rather than a single item found by a scan. Its yearly items are a thicket too: four of them, at $66.00, $79.99, $99.99 and $129.99, with nothing on the listing to say which is the yearly price, and the full web pricing page sits behind a gate that also accepts the site's terms, which nobody has authorised us to accept. There is no Android listing. Take this pick only with all of that in view.

Read down the price column and OhCleo's $4.99 is the cheapest monthly figure in the field, which is the strongest argument for staying. Read down the trial column and it is the only row with a published refusal to offer one. Those two facts are the whole decision.

How to choose

  • You want a creator marketplace with a price you can check: Quinn, accepting that it states no free route of any kind.
  • You want someone accountable for every recording: Dipsea or femtasy, both produced rather than uploaded, at two and three times OhCleo's monthly price.
  • You want to hear something before paying: OhCleo's own three free stories are better than most of this list. Beyond them, femtasy's free sample and Ferly's 7-day trial are the routes, and free audio erotica sets out what each one bills at the end.
  • You want to stay out of the app stores: femtasy is the only audio service we cover with no store listing at all.
  • You want everything ranked: best audio erotica apps orders the nine audio services by what they publish before you pay, and apps with voice narration records which ones say who is reading.

One general habit worth keeping in this corner: subscribe where the price is printed outside the app, because a figure shown only on a purchase screen cannot be compared with anything. If you are leaving because of the uploads rather than the money, the cluster-wide picture is in the audio erotica hub, and the field's weakest spot, what each service says about the ages of its characters, is covered there too. For getting out cleanly see how to cancel a story app subscription, and the alternatives hub has the pages for everyone else.

FAQ

How much does OhCleo cost?

The US App Store lists $4.99 for one month, $14.99 for three months and $24.99 for six. The website publishes no prices and the FAQ says pricing is shown inside the app and may vary by region or platform, so figures outside the US are not confirmed.

Is the OhCleo six-month pack worth it?

By our arithmetic, yes, and the three-month one is not. Six monthly payments are $29.94 against $24.99 for the pack, a saving of $4.95, while three monthly payments are $14.97 against $14.99, so the three-month pack costs two cents more.

Which OhCleo alternatives have a free trial?

femtasy gives 30 days on its annual plan and Ferly gives 7 days. Dipsea's 7 days exist on the annual plan only and bill $69.99 at the end. Quinn states none, and OhCleo's FAQ says it does not normally offer trials.

Is there a cheaper alternative to OhCleo?

Not among the audio services we cover. OhCleo's $4.99 monthly item is the lowest published monthly price in the category; the nearest figures are BLANCHEstories at 79 kronor, about $7.90, and Quinn at $7.99. NovelX's weekly item is also $4.99, but that is a week rather than a month.

Which alternative uses human narrators rather than AI voices?

Dipsea describes voice actors it recruits and femtasy claims 50+ voices, though neither states a policy on AI either way. Quinn's audio is voiced by its creators and by the actors in its Originals. NovelX is AI narration by design, and OhCleo allows AI voices from its creators.

Does OhCleo publish a rule that all characters are adults?

Not as a sentence about the catalogue. It has a creator rule instead: creators may upload only consensual adult fictional audio, and its prohibited list covers content involving people under 18. Of the audio services we cover, none publishes a blanket statement about characters.
