Erotica Apps

Erotic Audio Stories

Erotic audio stories sit in five kinds of place: subscription libraries, creator marketplaces, a general audiobook store, free community sites and AI-voiced apps. This page maps them with prices and free access, because a search for the phrase returns podcasts, streaming catalogues and free sites as much as apps.

Updated

Quick answer

  • Where they live: subscription libraries (Dipsea, Bloom Stories, femtasy, BLANCHEstories), creator marketplaces (Quinn, OhCleo), a general audiobook store (Audible, whose Erotica category held 55,012 titles on October 27, 2026), free community sites (Literotica's audio section) and AI-voiced apps.
  • What they cost: from $4.99 for a one-month OhCleo plan on the US App Store to $12.99 a month at Dipsea and $15.99 at femtasy. Bloom Stories' monthly price could not be confirmed: its two sites print $29.95 and $29.99.
  • Free: Literotica's audio costs nothing, Bloom Stories rotates a free selection, OhCleo lets a free account hear 3 stories in full and BLANCHEstories has a free version with ads.
  • Age: none of the nine audio services we cover publishes a sentence saying that all characters are adults. Literotica, which hosts audio, does.
  • Not covered: podcast feeds, Spotify and YouTube. We have no research on them, so we say nothing about what they carry.

What a search for erotic audio stories returns

Search for the phrase and the first page is a mixture: podcast directories, a streaming service, an audiobook retailer's article, free story sites, a few video pages and some apps. "Adult audio stories" returns much the same mix, and in the results we compared on October 27, 2026 the two phrases shared five of their ten places. That overlap is why one page answers both.

The reader behind either phrase is mostly asking where to listen, not which app to buy. So this page sorts the places by what they are, and leaves the ranking of apps to our list of the best audio erotica apps. If the term itself is new, our glossary entry on audio erotica covers the form in a page.

Two more services belong in the picture without fitting a row. Yuu is an iPhone app with a store listing and almost nothing else public, at $5.99 a month or $39.99 a year in the US App Store. Everand and Kindle+ are reading subscriptions where audio is one benefit among several. Everand lists a dedicated Erotica category that needs a subscription to browse; on the pages we read, Kindle+ names no erotica sub-product.

Subscription libraries: the closest thing to a shelf

These are the services built for the form. Dipsea describes its stories as professionally written and voice-acted, with multi-chapter series, single-narrator audios and very short clips. Bloom Stories sells full-cast and multi-voice stories and says on its FAQ that they are 100% human-made. femtasy is a browser-only service, with no iPhone or Android listing and no offline listening according to its help centre. BLANCHEstories is a Swedish app that publishes in Swedish and English and prices in kronor.

Compare prices first, because they spread widely. Dipsea's $69.99 a year works out at $5.83 a month, the figure its sign-up page prints. femtasy's $109.99 a year is about $9.17 a month, by our arithmetic. Bloom Stories' annual $131.40 is the same on both of its sites, but the monthly price is not, so we quote only the yearly figure. The audio erotica hub has the full price table, and each review has the cancelling and billing detail.

Creator marketplaces: many voices, uneven rules

Quinn and OhCleo let independent voice performers upload their own recordings. That produces variety, and it moves the moderation burden onto the platform. Quinn says creators are vetted before their content is shared, and adds a tipping currency called Roses at $2.99 for one, sold only inside the app. OhCleo publishes a list of prohibited content in its FAQ and lets creators use AI-generated voices if they comply with its policies.

OhCleo is the one marketplace where we could estimate size without a vendor figure. A scan of its public sitemap on October 27, 2026 found about 7,000 track pages and 433 creator profiles; that is our count of entries, not a vendor claim. The same scan is why its review carries a moderation caveat. Quinn publishes no audio count at all.

Audible and the other big stores

Audible has a top-level Erotica category with 55,012 titles on October 27, 2026, by far the biggest number in this section. It is a general retailer, so the category reads as a shelf in a very large shop. Its Conditions of Use, which we read once, contain no sentence we could find on explicit content or minimum age, and the catalogue is too large for anyone to audit title by title.

The two other stores that sell audiobooks per title are less certain homes. Apple Books says only that books cannot contain prohibited explicit or objectionable content, and does not define the phrase. Google Play Books allows sexually explicit content with educational, artistic, historical or documentary value, marked for mature audiences, and bans pornography. Neither page mentions erotica by name, so we do not list either as a place that carries it.

Free sites and community recordings

Literotica is the free end of this field. Its homepage describes a place for adults to explore fantasies through sex stories, audio erotica, and interactive fiction. Reading, audio and story games are free, and the audio plays in an ordinary browser on iPhone, Android and desktop. It has no store app, and the About page says Google later changed its policy to prohibit adult apps. Of the services that carry audio, it is also the only one we found that prints a character-age sentence on every page, Characters in all stories are over 18.

Free access elsewhere is narrower. Our page on free audio erotica separates a free tier from a sampler and a trial, and shows what each one turns into.

Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube

These come up in every search for the phrase, and we cannot tell you what they carry. They are outside what we have researched, and a podcast feed or a video channel has no operator terms, store rating or published age rule for us to read in the way we read the services above. The questions in the list below travel to any of them.

  • Who performs it, and is the performer credited by name or stage name?
  • Does the page, feed description or channel say anything about the characters being adults? Of the nine audio services we cover, none does.
  • What does listening require: an account, an app, a card, or only a browser?

That list is general advice, not a finding about any one source.

What the services say about age

Two different things get called an age rule: the minimum age for the listener, and a sentence saying that every character is an adult. Most of the nine audio services say something about the first. Dipsea, Quinn and Bloom Stories state 18 in their terms; femtasy directs its offer at adults and may ask for proof of age; OhCleo calls itself strictly 18+ only; BLANCHEstories states 18 in its terms but carries an App Store rating of 16+; Ferly and Yuu state no age in the pages we read and rely on a store rating of 18+; Audible's minimum age is not confirmed. None publishes the second. That is a finding about pages, not about stories, and the hub's table sets it out service by service.

Where to start

If you want to try audio without paying or installing anything, Literotica's audio section runs in a browser. If you want a curated library and are happy to pay monthly, the subscription libraries are the closest match, and Dipsea and femtasy publish plain dollar prices. If price is the main constraint, OhCleo's $4.99, Yuu's $5.99 and Quinn's $7.99 are the lowest published monthly figures among the paid audio services. If you already pay for Audible, its Erotica category is the cheapest extra step, with the caveat that nobody curates it for you. FAQ

Where can I listen to erotic audio stories for free?

Literotica's audio section is free and plays in a browser. Bloom Stories gives a free account a rotating selection with no time limit stated, OhCleo gives a free account 3 stories in full, and BLANCHEstories has a free version with ads and about 100 stories. Details are on our free audio erotica page.

What are adult audio stories?

The phrase returns the same results as erotic audio stories: explicit fiction performed aloud, from subscription libraries, marketplaces, general audiobook stores and free sites. This page covers both phrases.

Does Audible have erotic audio stories?

Audible has a top-level Erotica category with 55,012 titles as of October 27, 2026. It is a general audiobook retailer, so the category is not curated as a specialist library, and it mixes fiction with sex instruction titles.

Can I listen without installing an app?

Yes, on some. Literotica, Dipsea, Bloom Stories and femtasy all run in a browser, and femtasy runs nowhere else. OhCleo's website offers previews and 3 free full stories, and its full library is in its app.

Are erotic audio stories read by real people?

On four services the pages say people read them: Dipsea, Bloom Stories, Quinn and OhCleo, though OhCleo also allows AI voices from creators. Five say the voice is synthetic. See our page on voice-narrated erotica.
