Erotica Apps

Best Erotica Apps for iPhone

Of the erotica services we cover, Dipsea, Quinn, Pirr, Spicify and Bloom Stories run on iPhone, Android and the web, OhCleo and BLANCHEstories have both phone apps and no full web player, and eight apps are on the App Store alone. Literotica, femtasy and Smashwords have no iPhone app at all. This page sorts them by what actually runs on iOS, with the App Store rating and the last update beside each. The numbers on the picks show the order of that sort and are not scores.

Updated

Quick answer

  • Everywhere: Dipsea, Quinn, Pirr, Spicify and Bloom Stories run on iPhone, Android and the web, so you are not stranded if an app is pulled from the App Store.
  • iPhone and Android, no full web player: OhCleo and BLANCHEstories. OhCleo's full library is in the app; the website carries previews.
  • iPhone only: Crave, Epictos, Erotic Stories - Erotica, huush, Yuu, Velvet Novel, Lure and Moments. We found no Google Play listing for any of them. Moments has not been updated since March 2025.
  • No iPhone app: Literotica, femtasy and Smashwords. All three work in Safari, and femtasy can be added to the Home Screen.
  • Watch the weekly plans: Apple allows subscriptions as short as seven days. At $4.99 a week, 52 weeks of Crave come to $259.48 against $59.99 for its yearly item, our arithmetic.

What runs on an iPhone, and why it matters

Erotica on an iPhone means three different things. Some services have a full App Store app and also run elsewhere. Some are iPhone apps and nothing else. And some, the largest free libraries among them, are websites that you open in Safari. That difference matters when an app is updated, repriced or removed.

Apple's rules put a ceiling on what an app can be. Guideline 1.1.4 bans overtly sexual or pornographic material, guideline 2.3.8 requires icons and screenshots to suit a 4+ rating whatever the app contains, and an app with user-generated content that ends up being used primarily for pornography may be removed without notice. That is why the listings below look tame and why so many sit behind a setting or a website. Our guide to why erotica apps vanish from the app stores goes through the rest. It also means an iPhone-only app has nowhere to go if it is removed, which is the main reason we sort by what else the service runs on.

This is one of the lists in our best-of section. For the format-agnostic ranking see best erotica apps, and for Google Play see the Android list.

How we sorted, and what we could not test

We grouped services by where they run, broadest first, and numbered the picks in that order, so the numbers are a sort order and not scores. We then described each on four iPhone-specific points: the App Store rating, the date of the last update the listing shows, the price items the listing prints, and whether a web or Android version exists as a fallback. Every point is from an App Store listing or the service's own pages, read on October 27, 2026. We did not install any app, so we cannot say how it behaves on iOS, how large it is, whether it works offline beyond what the listing says, or how an age prompt appears. The App Store prints at most ten purchase items, so a price list can be partial. Prices are US dollars.

None found means a name search of Google Play returned no listing on October 27, 2026, which is not proof that none exists. Yuu's Terms say The app is currently available on iOS. Lure's official domain returned an HTTP 522 error that day, and Moments is dormant, so neither gets a section below.

Dipsea's App Store listing is by Dipsea, Inc, rated 18+ and last updated on August 25, 2026. The description quotes $69.99 a year or $12.99 a month, the same as the website, and says Download your favorite stories. One iPhone-specific wrinkle: the App Store's in-app purchase list also carries older price points ($59.99 annual, $8.99, $47.99, $34.99, $25.99 quarterly and $6.99 for three days) beside the two current plans. We did not see the purchase screen, so we cannot say which price a new subscriber is offered there. Our page on what Dipsea costs has the plans.

Quinn's listing is by Quinn Inc, rated 18+, free to download with in-app purchases. The monthly plan is $7.99 in the app and on the website, but the annual plan is $59.99 on the App Store against $4.99 a month billed annually on the website, which is $59.88 when multiplied out, an 11-cent gap. Roses, optional tips for creators, are sold in the app only: 1 for $2.99, 10 for $29.99 and 25 for $69.99. See what Quinn costs.

Three more run on all three surfaces, and each has an iPhone-specific wrinkle. Pirr's app, listed as Pirr AI by Pirr AB, is free with in-app purchases and rated 18+. Premium is $12.99 a month or $99.99 a year in the app, with AI Credits packs at $4.99, $8.99 and $27.99 whose credit counts are not printed. The website prints $8.99/month or $12.99/month without saying which is which, so the App Store figures are the clearer ones, and subscriptions are cancelled in the app under Profile, then Settings, then Manage Subscription. Explicit text is an opt-in setting for users who confirm they are 18 or older.

Spicify's App Store listing, updated September 14, 2026, carries an Age Assurance control and lists items at $49.99, $149.99 and $199.99 with no billing period, while its website prices the same three tiers at $4.99, $14.99 and $19.99 a month. We cannot match them up, and its own pages disagree about what is free. Bloom Stories' iPhone listing was last updated in January 2025 and still advertises AI roleplay chatbots that the website says were discontinued.

On iPhone and Android, without a full web player

OhCleo's iPhone listing is by OhCleo AB, rated 18+ and updated on September 16, 2026. The App Store prices are $4.99 for a month, $14.99 for three months and $24.99 for six, the lowest App Store price in this list, and the website lists no price at all, saying subscription pricing is displayed inside the OhCleo mobile app and may vary by region or platform. On an iPhone the app is also the way in, since the full library lives there and the web has previews and three free stories after a free sign-up.

BLANCHEstories is a Swedish audio app in Swedish and English. Its App Store text, in Swedish, describes a free version with ads and about 100 stories, and offline listening by download. The listing is rated 16+ while the Terms say 18, a mismatch we record and do not explain. The website prices Premium at 79 SEK a month or 595 SEK a year; the in-app prices were not recorded, and there is no web player.

On iPhone only

Eight apps in our records are on the App Store and nowhere else we could find. They are the typical result when you search the store for erotic stories, and they are thin: most are small developers with short policy pages, a few have no website, and several print price items without periods. Three are worth a closer look, and the rest are listed after them.

Crave is text only and runs on iPhone, iPod touch, Mac with Apple silicon and Apple Vision. The listing shows an Age Assurance control, its Terms say you must be 18 and that every character is portrayed as 18 or older, and the seller is VAVAVA, MB, with no company named on the website. Ten price items run from $4.99 to $69.99, four with no period. It was last updated on February 18, 2026, and the Terms say no refunds are offered.

Yuu is a small erotic audio stories app for iPhone, seller Hyperday MB, rated 18+ and updated on September 30, 2026. Its two items are $5.99 a month and $39.99 a year, with a third called Unlimited Access at $4.99 whose type is not stated. The listing says it is free to download and use without saying what is free. The Terms are a 2021 template with no content clause, no age clause and no company named. We list it because it is one of two iPhone-only audio apps; the record supports little more.

Erotic Stories - Erotica describes itself as the app for audio erotica and carries a disclaimer: Stories written by AI-generated and not curated. The seller is Caprinix LLC, the listing is rated 18+ and was updated on August 16, 2026, and it carries an advertising flag. Prices are $5.99 a week, $29.99 a year and a one-time $39.99 payment whose contents are not stated, with a 3-day trial on a plan the listing does not name. Cancelling is done in the App Store's account settings, and refunds go only through Apple.

The record is thin where it matters. The developer's own website does not mention the app, its policy pages are free Google Sites pages with a Gmail contact, and the Terms contain no age clause or statement about characters; the privacy policy sets the audience at 18 and over. Narration, library size and offline listening are not stated.

The other iPhone-only apps, and what each leaves out:

  • Epictos: dark romance novels, a claimed 500+, ad-free, with offline reading, from a solo developer with 8 ratings. $2.99 a week, $5.99 a month, $39.99 a year. Its privacy policy sets an age floor of 13 against an 18+ rating, and the App Store's own privacy link fails TLS verification.
  • huush: short romantic fiction, a selection free, $8.99 a month or $34.99 a year. Its policy pages did not render.
  • Velvet Novel: vampire, werewolf and gothic romance in a new reader that needs iOS 26 or later, with no price list, which describes itself as dark fantasy and not erotica.

The weekly plan arithmetic

Apple's guideline 3.1.2(a) says a subscription period must last at least seven days, so a weekly plan is the shortest the store allows, and three of the iPhone-only apps sell one. A weekly price is cheap on the day you see it and expensive over a month. Our arithmetic from the US App Store items:

AppWeeklyMonthlyYearlyFour weeks52 weeks
Crave$4.99 (and $7.99)$12.99$59.99 and $69.99$19.96$259.48
Epictos$2.99$5.99$39.99$11.96$155.48
Erotic Stories - Erotica$5.99None listed$29.99$23.96$311.48

At Crave the weekly plan wins only for about two weeks: two payments are $9.98, a third makes $14.97, over the $12.99 month. At Epictos two weekly payments are $5.98, one cent under the month. After that the monthly item is cheaper at Crave and Epictos, and at Erotic Stories - Erotica the yearly item is cheaper from the sixth week. The listings do not say what the plans unlock; our page on cancelling a story app subscription covers cancelling in general.

No iPhone app: Safari instead

Three services with large or notable libraries have no App Store app. Literotica is web only, and its audio plays in a normal browser on iPhone. femtasy is a web app: its Help Center says you will not find it in the App Store and describes installing it to the Home Screen in three clicks, in an article dated 2022, and offline listening is not possible. Smashwords is a store with DRM-free files and no app. Archive of Our Own has no official app. We found no App Store listing by name for Chyoa or Outfox Stories, which is not proof that none exists. These sites are also the way around the App Store's rules, which is why the explicit libraries live on the web: see best erotic fiction platforms.

What to check before you buy on an iPhone

  1. Look at the age rating and the update date on the listing. 18+ is what to expect, and an update older than a year, as at Bloom Stories and Moments, is a reason to check the website first.
  2. Read the price on the service's website before buying in the app, where it has one. App Store and web figures differ for Quinn's annual plan, and Spicify's two lists cannot be matched up.
  3. Check the billing period on every item. Crave, Spicify and Yuu each print at least one price item with no period or type.
  4. Find out how to cancel before you subscribe. Where a record names a route, Erotic Stories - Erotica says the App Store's account settings, and refunds only through Apple, and Pirr says Profile, then Settings, then Manage Subscription. For most apps on this page no route is recorded.

FAQ

What are the best erotica apps for iPhone?

By coverage, Dipsea, Quinn and Pirr run on iPhone, Android and the web, with Dipsea last updated on August 25, 2026 and Quinn on October 20. For a text-only iPhone app, Crave states in its Terms that every character is 18 or older. The iPhone-only apps are thinner in what they publish.

Can I read Literotica on iPhone?

In Safari, yes: it is a website with no App Store app, free to read with no account, and its audio plays in a normal browser. There is no Literotica app in the App Store as of October 27, 2026.

Are erotica apps rated 18+ on the App Store?

Most are. Of the 15 services in the table above, 13 are rated 18+ and two are rated 16+: BLANCHEstories and Velvet Novel. BLANCHEstories' own Terms say 18.

Why are so many erotica apps iPhone only?

None of them says. They are small developers whose records show a single store listing, and we found no Google Play listing by name for eight of them. Apple and Google both bar sexual content as the point of an app, but no source ties that to these choices.

Do I have to subscribe in the app?

For the apps, yes, the App Store takes the payment. Dipsea, Quinn, Pirr, Spicify, OhCleo and Bloom Stories also have websites, and where a website sells a plan, its price is worth reading first.
