Quick answer
- Who has it: 23 services in our records offer audio: 10 apps and 13 platforms. A service not listed has published no answer, which is not a no.
- Built for audio (9): Dipsea, Quinn, OhCleo, BLANCHEstories, Yuu, Bloom Stories, femtasy, Erotic Stories - Erotica and, as an adjacent case, Ferly.
- Audio as a section (7): Literotica, Audible, Everand, Kindle+, Apple Books, Google Play Books and Spicify. Read-aloud tools (7): Satinaire, StoryLoom, DreamPress AI, Erota, NovelX, NovelAI and FanFiction.Net.
- Free: 12 of the 23 have a usable free tier, but that is about the service, not always its audio. Erota, for example, lists listening as a paid-tier feature.
- Not all of it is erotica: five of the 23 are general book stores or libraries, and FanFiction.Net does not accept explicit content.
Audio erotica is explicit fiction performed aloud to be listened to, not read. Our records list 23 services that offer some form of audio, and the list is wider than the name suggests. It includes nine services whose whole product is audio, a group of larger libraries where audio is one section, and a third group of text-story tools that read a story back to you, five of the seven in a machine voice. This is one of the erotica app features we track. For the nine specialists side by side on price, free access and age, start with the audio erotica hub.
What "audio" means, and where the word is loose
We define it as stories performed aloud, usually by hired narrators, to be listened to rather than read. The caveat that goes with that is the sorting rule for this page: some services have an audio section inside a text library, and others are audio and nothing else. The first kind can offer a lot of audio and still be a reading site. The second has nothing else to offer.
The records also use "audio" for products that are not performances. FanFiction.Net's app offers text-to-speech that turns stories into audio books, on a site whose guidelines say it does not accept explicit content. Apple Books, Google Play Books and Kindle+ sell or lend audiobooks as part of a general store; the first two do so per title and the third by subscription, and none of them is specific to erotica. For who is speaking, see voice narration.
How we grouped the 23
Each service sits in the group its own type line puts it in: audio is the product, audio is a section of something larger, or audio is generated from text for reading. That is a description of what the service says it is, not a quality order. A service missing here has published no answer on audio, which is not the same as no audio.
Built around audio (9)
These are the services whose records describe an audio product. They differ in how the audio gets made:
- Curated libraries: Dipsea (voice-acted series, many full-cast) and BLANCHEstories (short stories, with or without music, in Swedish and English).
- Creator marketplaces: Quinn and OhCleo, where independent performers upload their own recordings. OhCleo also adds ASMR.
- Platforms with catalogues of their own: Bloom Stories, which says its stories are human-made, and femtasy, which is browser-only.
- Thin records: Yuu and Erotic Stories - Erotica are iPhone-only apps with little public detail. The second says in its own listing that its stories are AI-generated and not curated.
- An adjacent case: Ferly is a sexual wellness app of guided audio programmes. Its store text lists about 290 minutes of stories beside 900-plus minutes of guided practice and 500-plus of theory.
Prices, free access and what each publishes about age are in the audio hub, so we do not repeat them. The voice question is on the voice narration page.
Audio as a section of a bigger library (7)
Here the audio sits beside text, or beside every other kind of audiobook. The cost to listen is whatever the host service charges.
| Service | What the audio is | Cost to listen, as published |
|---|---|---|
| A full Audio category and an Audio Works FAQ; plays in a normal browser | Free: reading, audio and story games cost nothing | |
| An Erotica category of 55,012 titles on October 27, 2026, inside a general audiobook retailer | No free plan; 30-day trial; Standard $8.99 a month | |
| A subscription library with an Erotica category that needs a subscription to browse | 30-day trial on the website, 7 days via the App Store; from $11.99 a month | |
| Audio narration for thousands of titles, and companion audiobooks for thousands of ebooks | 30-day trial for new subscribers; $11.99 a month in the US | |
| Audiobooks sold and played in the app; free samples | No subscription; priced per title, with some free titles | |
| Audiobooks sold and played in the app | Free app; free samples and some free titles; otherwise per title | |
| Books, multi-voice audiobooks and Webtoons of original dark romance; the voices are AI | Website tiers $4.99, $14.99 and $19.99 a month; audiobooks start at the middle tier |
The three big-store names matter most for what they do not say. Audible and Everand both have an Erotica category, but neither record states a rule on explicit content. Kindle+ says pornography is not sold and states no erotica-specific rule. Apple Books bans prohibited explicit or objectionable content
without defining it. Google Play Books allows sexually explicit content only with educational, artistic, historical or documentary value, flagged "For mature audiences". These are general stores whose rules were not written for this reader, so the audio is not interchangeable with the specialists' libraries.
Text stories that read aloud (7)
The audio here is made from a text story, not performed from a script. Most of these are story generators.
| Service | What the audio is | How it is paid for |
|---|---|---|
| AI-narrated audio for every chapter, per its Google Play listing | Free Android app with ads; coins unlock chapters, prices not published | |
| StoryLoom | Narration on every plan; a bobbin is a short story of five chapters with narrated audio | Free plan of two bobbins a month; Standard $9.99 a month |
| Narration comes with each generation; character voices on Pro | Free daily credits, replays cost 1 credit; Pro $9.99 a month on the web | |
| Text-to-speech listening on every paid tier | 8 credits a story at Standard quality, 16 at HD; Premium $9.90 a month | |
| An "Audiobook" and "Listen to a Story" for supported chapters; voice details not confirmed | Free plan of 10 generation tokens; Premium $18.99 a month | |
| Text-to-speech using its own AI voice technology | Unlimited on every paid tier from $10 a month; 100 generations in the free trial | |
| App text-to-speech that turns stories into audio books | Free; no explicit content accepted |
This group is the one to read with the caveat in mind. A machine reading a generated story is a different product from a hired narrator performing a script, as the voice narration page sets out. Both are recorded as audio. Erota's price is the web checkout; its Patreon route is in euros.
Free or paid access
Twelve of the 23 are in the record's free column: BLANCHEstories, OhCleo, Satinaire, StoryLoom, Apple Books, Bloom Stories, DreamPress AI, Erota, FanFiction.Net, Google Play Books, Literotica and NovelX. The other 11 are in the other column, which means "no usable free tier confirmed". Both columns describe the service, not always its audio, so here is what the records say about listening itself:
- Free audio with no meter: Literotica, and FanFiction.Net's text-to-speech.
- A free selection: BLANCHEstories has a free ad-supported version with about 100 stories against 600-plus on Premium. OhCleo lets a free account hear three stories in full, and marks some tracks FREE. Bloom Stories offers a rotating free selection with a free account. Apple Books and Google Play Books give free samples and some free titles.
- Free but metered: DreamPress AI replays cost one credit on the free tier, and StoryLoom's free plan includes narrated bobbins.
- Not confirmed as free for audio: Erota lists listening as a paid-tier feature, and NovelX's free plan does not say whether audio is included.
- Paid, with a trial or a sample: Dipsea has a seven-day trial on its annual plan only, femtasy a free sample audio and a 30-day trial on its annual plan, Audible and Everand 30-day trials, Ferly seven days and Erotic Stories - Erotica three days.
- Paid, nothing stated: Quinn states no free plan or trial, and Yuu says only that it is free to download and use, without saying what is free.
For the free options in detail, see our page on free audio erotica.
Offline listening
Offline listening is documented for Dipsea, BLANCHEstories, Audible, Everand, Kindle+, Apple Books and Google Play Books, and listed as unavailable for femtasy (web app only) and Spicify (streaming only). For the others the pages we read do not say. Our offline reading page collects the services that document downloads.
Limits to know about
- Who is speaking is not always stated. BLANCHEstories, Yuu, Ferly and Erotic Stories - Erotica do not say who narrates. Satinaire's home page promises
Original voice work on every premium chapter
, while its Terms say narration is generated by AI, and we treat the Terms as the stronger statement. - General retailers carry erotica under their own rules. Audible, Everand, Kindle+, Apple Books and Google Play Books are not specialist services, and their records state no clear erotica rule, or a restrictive one.
- Library sizes are claims. BLANCHEstories' 600-plus and Audible's 55,012 are counts the services themselves print; we did not audit any catalogue.
- Not every listed service accepts explicit content. FanFiction.Net does not, and StoryLoom bans pornographic content.
Which service suits which reader
These match a need to what the records show. They are not rankings.
- A produced library with a cast: Dipsea (voice actors it recruits) or Bloom Stories (it says it never uses AI to write, record or edit its stories).
- Variety from independent performers: Quinn or OhCleo, with the caveat that OhCleo allows AI-generated voices if they follow its policies.
- Free listening without a card: Literotica's audio category, BLANCHEstories' free version, or OhCleo's three free stories. Whether a card is asked for is not published in several cases.
- A browser and nothing to install: femtasy, Literotica or Bloom Stories.
- Stories written to order and read back: Erota, DreamPress AI or NovelAI, with an AI voice.
For ranked picks with criteria, see the best audio erotica apps. For the form itself, erotic audio stories and the glossary entry go through what is on offer, and audio erotica against reading weighs the formats.
FAQ
Which erotica apps have audio?
Twenty-three services in our records do. Nine are built around audio: Dipsea, Quinn, OhCleo, BLANCHEstories, Yuu, Bloom Stories, femtasy, Erotic Stories - Erotica and, as an adjacent case, Ferly. Others keep audio inside a larger library or read text stories aloud.
Is there free audio erotica?
Yes, in limited forms. Literotica's audio is free, BLANCHEstories has a free version with ads, OhCleo's free account includes three full stories, and Bloom Stories rotates a free selection. None of the paid specialists in our records lists a standing free plan with its full library.
Can I listen to erotica on Audible?
Audible has an Erotica category with 55,012 titles on October 27, 2026, but it is a general retailer, and the record found no sentence on explicit content in its conditions. It offers a 30-day trial and Standard costs $8.99 a month.
Do any of these use AI voices?
Satinaire, Spicify, DreamPress AI, Erota and NovelAI say so. OhCleo allows creators to use them. NovelX does not say what voice it uses. The voice narration page lists them against the services that say they use people.
Can I download erotica audio to listen offline?
Dipsea, BLANCHEstories, Audible, Everand, Kindle+, Apple Books and Google Play Books document downloads. femtasy and Spicify say they do not offer them. The rest do not say.
